Merchandise Processing Fee Minimum and Maximum Increases Set By CBP

Effective January 1, 2018, the Department of Homeland Security Customs and Border Protection has announced in the Federal Register that the minimum and maximum Merchandise Processing Fee (MPF) will be increased to $25.67 and $497.99 respectively. Currently the minimum is $25 and maximum is $485. The ad valorem fee of 0.3464 percent will remain the same. The Federal Register announcement can be found here.
