Upcoming Holidays in South Korea
Posted on Apr 17
South Korea will celebrate a few holidays between May 1 and May 9 this year:
Monday, May 1, 2017: Labor Day
Wednesday, May 3, 2017: Buddha’s Birthday
Friday May 5, 2017: Children’s Day
Tuesday, May 9, 2017: President Election Day
A lot of companies plan to close the full first week in May for these festivities which will impact freight movements all across the country.
Although our partners in South Korea will be open May 2, 4 and 8 their operation will be affected by company closings and delays might have to be expected during this time.
