U.S. and Japan Trade Deal Finalized

President Trump announced a finalized trade deal with Japan. The trade deal will cut tariffs on Japanese autos to 15%, while opening up the Japanese economy to U.S. cars and trucks, as well as certain agricultural products.

Japan has also agreed to invest $550 billion into the U.S., with 90% of the profits from these investments to remain in the U.S. economy. The reciprocal duties set to take effect on August 1 have also been reduced to 15%.
