The Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) announced on December 16th that they will provide a nine-month extension for the 352 product exclusions in the China Section 301 Investigation that had been scheduled to expire by the end of this year.
You may remember these 352 exclusions had expired in 2021, and then were retroactively reinstated on March 28, 2022, but were set to expire again on December 31, 2022. According the USTR press release, the extension will “help align further consideration of these exclusions with the ongoing comprehensive four-year review. A copy of the December announcement can be found here. You can also find a copy of the original reinstatement notice which lists those 352 products here.
