Winter Storm Closes Northeast Ports
Posted on Mar 21
The ports of Philadelphia and New York and New Jersey will be closed all day Wednesday due to a major storm that will result in more than a foot of snow.
Baltimore’s Ports America Chesapeake container terminal said it will open at 8 a.m., instead of the usual 6 a.m.
Airlines are cancelling flights into and out of airports in the areas affected, too.
Please contact your V. Alexander Team for information on specific shipments that might be delayed due to this situation.
