Today, April 20, US CBP has launched its Consolidated Administration and Process of Entries (CAPE) for IEEPA Refunds portal in ACE. CSMS # 68396594.
V. Alexander is ready to help the trade community through the process of IEEPA refund recovery with our CAPE Claim Management Services!
The three primary options are:
- Have V. Alexander submit a CAPE claim on your behalf for eligible entries that V. Alexander cleared as your Customs Broker.
- Grant V. Alexander access to your ACE portal to have V. Alexander submit a CAPE claim on your behalf for all eligible entries (valid POA required).
- As the Importer of Record you may directly submit a CAPE claim through your ACE account.
For options 1 or 2, please email your official request to CapeClaimRequest@valexander.com. A V. Alexander representative will then contact you to work through details, including the fee structure for the CAPE Claim Management Services.
V. Alexander & Co., Inc. maximizes duty recovery while minimizing risk and internal burden by expertly managing your CAPE claims with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
Through advanced reporting and deep trade compliance expertise, V. Alexander proactively analyzes historical import data to identify entries eligible for refunds under the Customs Automated Processing Environment (CAPE). Our team manages the full lifecycle of the claim— from data validation and submission to ongoing tracking and resolution within ACE— ensuring accuracy, transparency, and timeliness at every stage.
Importers benefit from:
- Optimized Refund Recovery: Identification of eligible entries that may otherwise go unnoticed, unlocking cash flow tied up in duties, taxes, and fees.
- Compliance Confidence: Meticulous adherence to CBP requirements and audit-ready documentation, reducing compliance and enforcement risk.
- Operational Efficiency: End-to-end claim management that eliminates the need for internal resources to monitor, submit, or follow up on CAPE activity.
- Clear Visibility: Ongoing monitoring and status tracking within ACE, keeping clients informed through every phase of the process.
With V. Alexander as your trusted and CAPEable partner, CAPE claims become a strategic advantage—not an administrative burden—delivering measurable financial returns with peace of mind.
