IEEPA India Adjusted to Remove Russia Oil 25% Tariff

On February 6 the President signed an Executive Order removing the tariffs imposed under Executive Order 14329 Russia Oil.
The effective date of the EO is on entries entered for consumption, or withdrawn from warehouse for consumption, on or after 1201 EST Feb 7, 2026. This removes the 25% IEEPA Russia Oil tariff.
CSMS # 67702087 provides trade the implementation guidelines for the removal of the 25% Russia Oil tariffs that had been enforced on goods of Indian origin. U.S. CBP has instructed trade to make necessary corrections to entries filed on or after the effective date.
This EO follows the previous announcement that the U.S. and India have reached a framework trade agreement that will also see the IEEPA Reciprocal rate reduced from 25% to 18%. However, no formal guidance on the IEEPA Reciprocal rate has been published as of this article.
We will continue to monitor this situation and issue updates as needed.
