On Monday, September 15, the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) issued a Federal Register Notice announcing the opening of the September 2025 inclusion window for Sec 232 steel and aluminum goods.
The inclusion request window runs from September 15 through September 29, 2025. Following the close of the inclusion request window a two week public comment period will open, likely early in October.
Instructions on the inclusion process can be found in 90 FR 18780.
BIS requires inclusion requests to be submitted by email to the Defense Industrial Base Programs inbox at DIBPrograms@bis.doc.gov.
We will continue to monitor this situation and issue updates as needed. Please contact your V.
