In a CSMS message, #65794272, issued July 31, 2025, US CBP has provided formal guidance for the Sec 232 50% Copper tariff that goes into effect on August 1, 2025.

The CSMS message details the chapter 99 numbers for the Sec 232 order, and a list of the HTS codes that qualify as Copper and Copper Derivative Products.
