Merchandise Processing Fees Set To Increase October 1

Effective October 1, 2023, Merchandise Processing Fee (MPF) rates will be increasing. The new MPF user fees are outlined below:
Minimum MPF on informal entries (shipments valued under $2500 USD) will increase from $2.37 to $2.53.
Minimum MPF on formal entries (shipments valued over $2500 USD) will increase from $29.66 to $31.67.
Maximum MPF on a formal entry will increase from $575.35 to $614.35.
Please note that the MPF ad valorem rate of 0.3464% will not change.
