USTR Announces Possible Section 301 Tariffs on Goods from the EU
Posted on Apr 11
On April 8, 2019 the United States Trade Representative (USTR) published a list of potential products from the European Union (EU) that could be subject to additional Section 301 duties. This action was taken in retaliation for harm imposed on the U.S. economy due to subsidies provided by the EU to aircraft manufactured in the EU. This action is in the beginning stages so the final list of products can change, and the amount of any additional duties has not been determined.
The USTR has made available a preliminary list of potential products.
V. Alexander will continue to monitor this action and provide updates as they become available.
