The V. Alexander Team Nashville spread the love …

Posted on Mar 5

This February, Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee asked to “Spread The Love” not only on Valentines Day but during the whole month by making one of the staples of American Cuisine the focus of food drives within the community: peanut butter.
Strangely enough this creamy delicacy, which is part of every emergency food box SHFB packs, is rarely donated during food drives, so there is always a need for this protein-packed super-food at the food bank.
So the team at V. Alexander Nashville stepped up to the plate and its donations, coupled with a few creative matching challenges from some team members that volunteer at SHFB, resulted in 333 jars of peanut butter to be dropped off at Second Harvest this Saturday.
We’re proud to support the community we live in and hope we made a little difference with our efforts.
