British Columbia, Canada – Wildfires – CN Rail
Posted on Jul 19
Wildfires across British Columbia, Canada (BC) affect multiple areas through the province including both directions of rail traffic. The Canadian National Railway (CN) will reduce their East Bound trains to 2 trains per week where as they had planned to run an additional 4 trains this week, which are now cancelled. This will cause slow down on East Bound Imports and West Bound Exports to Prince Rupert. Delays with cargo arriving through this port have to be expected.Your V. Alexander Account Team will notify you should your cargo be affected by this incident.Operations remain relatively unaffected at this time with local operations monitoring the situation closely. For more information on the wildfires in BC please go to: http://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/safety/wildfire-status
