C-TPAT Certification Training
Following September 11, 2001, U.S. Customs and Border Security (CBP), under the auspices of the Department of Homeland Security, established a stringent set of guidelines to which every importer must adhere. However, companies also have the opportunity to avoid many of the potential pitfalls of the guidelines by becoming C-TPAT certified, as well as enjoy the many benefits of membership.
V. Alexander is proud to offer company-specific C-TPAT Certification Training that ensures a smooth path toward becoming a "Tier 1" C-TPAT member.
Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT)
The Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) is a joint initiative between U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and the business community. All importers, whether a member of C-TPAT or not, should be concerned about its supply chain integrity.
U.S. Customs has provided extensive C-TPAT information for importers online. Click here to learn more.
U.S. Customs acknowledged C-TPAT best practices is a great guide to improved supply chain security. Click here to download.
